I make art to reconcile the turbulence of my environment with its inherent beauty; Embracing the mundane to create the sublime. My compositions are a collision of the organic and the manufactured, my marks often reference my history as a lettering artist and graphic designer. I use high flow acrylics and paint with a sense of urgency from which my paintings derive their energy. Color is often defined by time and gravity, evidence of the fragile and fleeting nature of life. My hope is that you will  just experience my work, not search for words to describe it.
